Coaching

Coaching is very much involved with inviting the client to make genuine contact with themselves, and through this authentic connection to their personal strength and life purpose to act more powerfully and resourcefully in their workplace and in their life.

We are human beings first. We can’t separate the professional from their personhood. We are naturally creative, resourceful and whole. If we excel in one area of our life at the cost of other areas we will not be satisfied with our life.

The coaching process is not about fixing people. As coaches, we seek to develop rapport with the client and to work with each individual to co-create a trusting relationship. Clients know themselves better than anyone else. We accept the client as a fully resourceful human being and invite them to discover what they want, what resources they bring, what they fear, and what is holding them back from achieving their desired outcome and a fulfilled and satisfying work and life experience. They have the answers or can find the answers to the questions before them. When the client takes responsibility for the choices in their lives, and designs their own plan of action they will be more satisfied with the results, and the impact on the world around them will be far more powerful.

Regardless of the outcomes that people are seeking by entering into a coaching relationship, the process invites a deeper look at the situations and processes that the client has experienced or is experiencing and creates the opportunity to see new perspectives, reframe and let go of the limiting beliefs or attitudes that hinder the mastery of new strategies and skills. The agenda for the coaching is totally up to the client - the coach follows the client’s lead. The job of the coach is to listen deeply, be curious, ask powerful and provocative questions, challenge, support and champion the client in achieving the outcomes they desire. The coach is present with the client, using their intuitive skills to work in the moment with the client, helping the client to see him or herself and supporting the development of the client’s capacity to work with their own process. This journey of the coaching process is as important as the achievement of a specific outcome - the capacity to learn from successes and failures is a critical skill for our life long learning and personal fulfillment. In addition, the client will learn a holistic process to sustain them as they continue to change and evolve to meet the new territories in their lives, to learn to see the highest future possibility and what is emerging in the world through them.
